Korean AI Company Neurofusion Brings Financial Intelligence to CEATEC 2026

Artificial intelligence is moving beyond general-purpose chatbots and into highly specialized industries, and South Korean startup Neurofusion is positioning itself at the centre of that shift. The financial AI company is set to showcase its investment technology at CEATEC 2026 in Japan, introducing a platform designed to make sophisticated financial research faster, more structured and accessible to a broader range of investors.

Neurofusion will present Valley AI, its investment analysis platform, alongside CereFin AI, a finance-focused reasoning engine developed specifically for financial research. The company is scheduled to exhibit at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from October 13 to 16, as part of its broader effort to establish partnerships and business opportunities in the Japanese market.

What makes Neurofusion's approach notable is its focus on specialization. Rather than treating finance as another use case for a general AI model, the company has built technology around financial information, investment workflows and market analysis. Valley AI brings together financial statements, market data, company disclosures, valuation information and economic indicators, allowing users to conduct several stages of investment research through one platform.

At the centre of the system is CereFin, which is designed to reason through financial information and support different stages of research. Its capabilities include conversational analysis, automated market monitoring and research visualization. This could be particularly valuable as investors deal with increasingly large volumes of corporate disclosures, economic data and market developments.

Neurofusion is also arriving at CEATEC with a recent performance milestone behind it. In the September 2026 preliminary results of ForecastBench, CereFin ranked first among 464 models in the Dataset Brier Index category. The result gives the company an additional talking point as it introduces its technology to potential customers and partners outside South Korea.

The company's ambitions extend beyond simply automating investment research. Neurofusion describes its broader strategy as combining finance, AI and cognitive science. Its platform is intended to help individual investors access sophisticated financial information and analytical capabilities that have traditionally been associated with institutional investors.

Japan therefore represents an important next step. CEATEC gives Neurofusion an opportunity to demonstrate its technology directly to financial and technology companies while exploring collaborations that could support expansion into the Japanese market.

The company's appearance also reflects a wider development in the AI industry: the growing importance of domain-specific artificial intelligence. As businesses become more familiar with general AI tools, competition is increasingly shifting toward systems that understand the language, data and processes of particular industries.

For financial services, that could mean AI systems capable of doing more than answering questions. They could monitor markets, organize research, identify relationships between financial events and help users build repeatable decision-making processes.

With Valley AI and CereFin, Neurofusion is betting that the next generation of financial technology will not simply provide more information, but help people make better use of it. CEATEC 2026 could provide the Korean startup with an important platform to test that proposition on a larger international stage.
